Grating & Flooring

FRP grating is engineered as a corrosion-resistant, lightweight, non-conductive alternative to GI grating — built for walkways, platforms, stair systems, and safety-critical flooring across urban, industrial and commercial environments.

We manufacture three product lines: molded standard mesh grating, molded mini mesh (heel-safe) grating for public and safety-critical areas, and pultruded grating for longer spans and higher structural loads.

Advantages:
  • Corrosion resistant and non-conductive – safe for electrical-adjacent zones
  • Lightweight – 30–50% lighter than GI, easier and cheaper to install
  • Low maintenance – no rust, repainting, or re-galvanizing required
  • Anti-slip and heel-safe options available for public-facing installations
Industries:
  • Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities (machine service areas, working platforms, stair systems)
  • Chemical & Process Industries (acidic environments)
  • Power & Electrical Infrastructure (transformer grating, cooling towers)
  • Water & Wastewater Treatment (trench covers)

Product Features

  • Three product lines: molded standard mesh, molded mini mesh (heel-safe), and pultruded
  • Standard panel size 3660mm x 1220mm; pultruded panels sized to span requirement
  • Heights from 25mm to 50mm depending on line and load requirement
  • Resin options: Isophthalic Polyester, Vinyl Ester, or Orthophthalic Polyester
  • Standard colours available (5 RAL shades); customisable to other colours
  • Fire-retardant resin grades available

Operating Parameters

  • Pultruded load capacity: up to 500 kg/sq.m UDL (40% open area) or 300 kg/sq.m UDL (60% open area)
  • Pultruded max span: 1200mm to 1800mm depending on height
  • Molded grating open area: 69–72% depending on variant
  • Weight: 12 kg/sq.m to 28 kg/sq.m depending on product line and height
